Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join their team. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of the Transportation Department supporting a small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Transportation Coordinator
Location: Remote (Candidates preferably located near St. Louis, MO; Davenport, IA; Crete, NE, or other Midwest locations)
What's the Job?
  • Support daily transportation planning activities including scheduling and tendering
  • Coordinate product issue resolution and communicate via email with stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams
  • Manage and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively identify and escalate transportation issues to ensure smooth operations

What's Needed?
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transportation execution
  • Willingness to support occasional overtime and holiday rotation
  • Experience with transportation or inventory management is a plus but not required
