Senior Social Worker - Mental Health Services Highfield Healthcare is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Location: Dublin Contract: Full-Time Permanent The post holder will report to the Social Work Manager / Team Leader. What You'll Do: * Provide a professional social work service including psycho-social assessment, groupwork, therapeutic interventions, risk assessment and discharge planning. * The Senior Social Worker emphasises the importance of family-focused practice, and their psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions focus not only on an individual's mental health needs, but on their relationships, supporters and the broader family and community systems. Essential Requirements Must be registered with CORU. Demonstrate sufficient clinical and professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role. Hold a National Qualification in Social Work (N.Q.S.W.) or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work awarded by the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work, U.K. or an equivalent qualification recognized for appointment to the post of Senior Social Worker in Ireland. Have at least 3 years' experience of working in mental health Desirable * Additional therapeutic qualification * Groupwork experience * An interest in Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults at Risk of Abuse .
