Manufacturing Operations AnalystWhat you will do

As a Manufacturing Operations Analyst, you will own the measurement, tracking, and reporting systems behind the Canby plant’s Operations Excellence and High-Performance Team (HPT) model. You will maintain operations excellence and HPT scorecards, analyze leading indicators, track certification and training metrics, and translate data into actionable insights for plant leadership. This is a hands-on, plant-based role that blends operational analytics with on-floor facilitation—without direct people management.

How you will do it
  • Track and trend Plant KPI leading indicators, job certification status, training completion, and HPT performance.
  • Prepare monthly analytical summaries highlighting trends, gaps, and recommendations for plant leadership.
  • Own development and maintenance of HPT scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Drive development of HPT action plans that align with plant objectives and measurable team-level KPIs.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all Operations Excellence and HPT-related data.
  • Use data to enable continuous improvement of HPT maturity and ongoing effectiveness
  • Coordinate recognition using objective performance data.
  • Ensure team and leadership monthly result monthly results meetings occur and rive measurable outcomes.
What we look forRequired
  • Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, or analyzing operational metrics, scorecards, or performance dashboards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and turn insights into clear recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Business, EHS, HR, or a related discipline with demonstrated analytical work.
This role is a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds in
  • Manufacturing and operations analytics, or continuous improvement
  • Data analysts or tech operations transitioning into people forward manufacturing
  • Maintenance planning, EHS, or quality roles with strong metrics ownership

Our fully integrated plant in Canby, Oregon, manufactures batteries for cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks—and just recently had its 50th year of operation. Since opening in 1973, we've grown to employ more than 235 people and operate six days per week with a stable, experienced workforce.
