Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Territory Manager for a 3rd-generation, family-owned leader in industrial hardware. This role is based on-site in the Tampa, FL market.
This is a high-autonomy, "Mobile Store" route sales position designed for a disciplined hunter who enjoys being in the field. You will manage a defined geographic territory, providing critical industrial hardware and MRO supplies directly to businesses. This isn't just a sales job; it's a career within a firm that boasts a 90% retention rate and a 10-year average employee tenure. We are looking for a professional with a "boots-on-the-ground" mentality who can maintain a mobile showroom, conduct face-to-face demonstrations, and build long-term relationships with machinists, operators, and facility managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new sales prospects through aggressive cold-calling, local research, and referral networking.
- Operate and maintain a company-approved mobile showroom, using sample boards and product demos to showcase hardware solutions on-site.
- Service existing customers with high frequency, ensuring their industrial hardware needs are met through a consistent route schedule.
- Present product applications to customers, leveraging a high level of mechanical interest to solve shop-floor challenges.
- Submit accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders, prospect calls, and updated customer contact data via company software.
- Manage the cleanliness, marketing functionality, and inventory of your mobile store to ensure a professional brand representation.
- Provide and maintain a fully insured, approved vehicle and the necessary technological tools (tablets/mobile devices) to operate the territory successfully.
