What You'll Do as a Sales Development Representative
- Engage prospective retail customers through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person conversations.
- Conduct tailored demonstrations of StoreLIVE! point-of-sale software solution.
- Learn customer operations and recommend solutions based on their business needs.
- Prepare accurate quotes and proposals in line with customer requirements.
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process.
- Build long-term customer relationships through honest, consultative communication.
- Travel to customer locations and trade shows throughout the Eastern U.S., with occasional nationwide travel and minimal overnight stays.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support customer success and implementation needs.
Our Ideal Sales Development Representative
- Experienced Sales Professional: Brings 3+ years of preferred experience in technical sales, POS systems, retail, or related customer-facing sales environments.
- Technology-Minded Problem Solver: Understands or is willing to learn retail technology, with hardware or software troubleshooting experience considered a plus.
- Consultative Communicator: Builds trust by listening well, asking thoughtful questions, and guiding customers without high-pressure tactics.
- Computer-Savvy Learner: Has strong general computer skills; POS system experience is considered helpful.
- Travel-Ready Professional: Comfortable sitting at a desk for extended periods and standing for longer periods during trade shows.
