* Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
* Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information.
* Assists with nursing admissions, ongoing patient nursing care, and nursing discharge planning under the supervision of the RN.
* Collects and records data in a comprehensive accurate and systematic manner.
* Demonstrates knowledge of program policies and procedures and develop new policies as needed.
* Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
* Collaborates with the medical staff to provide medical and nursing care.
* Attends daily patient staffing and flash meetings.
* Manages clinical nursing activities in a safe, professional manner.
* Manages compliance with established nursing care standards.
* Continues with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures.
* Maintains CPR certification.
* Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress.
* Responds positively to changing situations in the work setting.
* Ability to work as a team member.
* Demonstrates good communication skills.
* Manages in a professional manner and role-models a positive image of mental health.
* Reports abuse of patients’ rights immediately.
* Acts decisively and effectively in managing staff, patients, and other employees during emergency situations.
* Valid LPN license in the state of OHIO.
* Completion of an accredited program.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
* Empathy and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, PRN
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
