LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Float Pool LPN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings within our regional healthcare system in Maryland. You will support multiple hospital units and specialty areas based on organizational needs, giving you the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience while working with diverse patient populations. In this role, you will deliver direct bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Your responsibilities will include performing focused assessments, monitoring and documenting vital signs, administering medications and treatments, assisting with procedures, providing wound care, supporting activities of daily living, and reinforcing patient and family education. You will be expected to recognize changes in patient condition, promptly report findings, and participate actively in developing and implementing individualized care plans. As part of the Float Pool, you will practice in a variety of clinical areas, which may include medical-surgical, telemetry, step-down, rehabilitation, and selected specialty units depending on your competencies and experience. You will need to quickly adapt to different workflows, unit cultures, and patient needs while maintaining a high standard of safety, accuracy, and professionalism. You will use electronic health records to accurately document care, follow infection prevention and control practices, and adhere to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based guidelines.
