LifeBridge Health, a regional healthcare organization in Maryland providing a comprehensive continuum of care through hospitals, specialty centers, and community health operations, is seeking a Rad Tech or RCIS to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and/or cardiac catheterization procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to support accurate diagnosis and timely treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms, operating imaging and interventional equipment according to established protocols, monitoring patient condition and safety throughout procedures, and following radiation safety and infection control standards at all times. You will verify patient identity and procedure orders, obtain relevant clinical histories, and ensure that images and procedural data are complete, accurate, and properly documented in the electronic medical record. Rad Tech candidates will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations and may assist with fluoroscopic, interventional, or specialized imaging procedures depending on department needs and experience. RCIS candidates will assist in the cardiac cath lab with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring, contrast injections under physician direction, and operation of cath lab imaging systems and associated technology. You will be expected to maintain current knowledge of equipment operation, troubleshooting, and evolving best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery. Participation in quality assurance, equipment checks, and departmental performance improvement initiatives is an important component of this role. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide clear explanations and emotional support to patients and families are essential.
