Sparks Group has partnered with a leading aviation parts and inventory company seeking an inbound inspector. Key accountabilities include performing visual inspections of incoming parts and materials, inspecting and identifying material and related documentation, performing review of physical attributes, quantity, and records for release, entering, verifying, and validating the accuracy of data input into the database, complying with ESD requirements when receiving ESD material, working with Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects, and performing all other duties as assigned. Key skills and competences include delivering exceptional customer service, being flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic, coping well under pressure and resolving issues and problems using their own initiative, working effectively to tight deadlines and targets, working in a fast-moving environment where a pro-active, can-do attitude is needed to achieve goals, knowledge of MS Office Suite or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, liaising with all levels of the organization, and demonstrating a professional style. Experience and qualifications include a high school graduate or GED, minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts, minimum 1 year job related experience, and ISO and/or AS Quality Standard knowledge.
