* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. * Proactively reach out to existing and prospective clients to identify technology needs and present appropriate solutions. * Provide responsive and professional communication via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Quoting & Order Management
* Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive quotes for hardware, software, licensing, and managed services. * Process and manage customer orders from initial request through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. * Track open quotes, follow up on pending opportunities, and maintain an organized sales pipeline. * Negotiate pricing with vendors and distribution partners to maximize margin while delivering client value.
Vendor & Distribution Collaboration
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor representatives and distribution contacts. * Stay current on vendor promotions, incentive programs, product availability, and lead times. * Work with distribution partners to source products, confirm availability, and resolve fulfillment issues. * Attend vendor training sessions and webinars to maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
Sales Growth & Reporting
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs. * Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. * Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline data in the CRM system. * Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on account status, opportunities, and challenges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 2 years of inside sales or sales support experience in the IT Reseller / VAR (Value-Added Reseller) industry. * Demonstrated experience creating technology quotes, including hardware, software, and licensing products. * Working knowledge of major IT vendors such as Cisco, Dell, HP, Microsoft, Lenovo, or similar. * Experience working directly with distribution partners (e.g., Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, D&H). * Proficiency with CRM platforms and quoting/ERP tools. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Familiarity with vendor certifications or sales programs (e.g., Cisco Resale Authorization, Microsoft Partner Network, HP Amplify). * Experience with managed services, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity offerings. * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
