The General Manager (GM) of Processing is the operational and cultural leader of our licensed cannabis manufacturing facility. This individual is responsible not only for delivering safe, compliant, and profitable products, but for building a team and environment grounded in care, accountability, authenticity, and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Oversee day to day operation across extraction, post processing, vape filling, kitchen/edibles production, pre-roll manufacturing, infused flower / pre-rolls, packaging, and fulfillment.
- Develop production plans aligned with demand planning while focusing on quality and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Ensure SOPs are followed, documented, and consistently improved.
- Maintain strict adherence to state cannabis regulations and tracking systems (e.g., METRC or applicable state system).
- Manage P&L performance, including labor management, cost control, and margin optimization.
- Monitor extraction yields, product costs, and production variances.
- Support R&D innovation.
- Collaborate with finance and supply chain on procurement strategy and inventory planning.
- Identify capital improvements that support long-term scalability.
- Lead and develop department managers (Extraction, Kitchen, Packaging).
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- At least five (5) years of manufacturing leadership experience (cannabis, food production, CPG, pharmaceutical, or related industry preferred)
- Three (3) years in a senior operations leadership role preferred.
- Experience with butane and/or ethanol extraction processes.
- Commercial kitchen or edible production leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and operational scaling experience.
- Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement background preferred.
- Strong ability to work cross functionally with other key stakeholders across the organization.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
