Parts Counter Associate

BMW of North Haven has an immediate opening for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. The individual in this role will serve as a liaison between customers and parts personnel, stocking parts, and assisting in sales and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years previous parts counter experience and a passion for customer service. This is a full time position with an hourly base rate plus commission. We offer very competitive wages commensurate with parts experience. Pay range $55,000 - $85,000 based on experience. The position offers dental, vision, and health insurance.

Responsibilities include taking customer orders and answering queries over the phone, interacting directly with customers, technicians or in person as required, assisting customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need, providing exceptional customer service daily, inspecting all parts for defects and ensuring quality, verifying order accuracy and resolving discrepancies, stocking, organizing, and rotating all merchandise, maintaining cleanliness of the parts counter, and performing daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous parts counter experience (five years minimum), knowledge of automobile parts and inventory, excellent customer service skills, organizational and problem solving skills, dependability, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds.
