Enterprise Account Executive - Industrial Electrical (OEM/MRO)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Schedule: Standard Daytime Hours, Monday-Friday

Base Compensation: $120,000 - $175,000

Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 25% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Account Executives for Sunrise Electric/Viking Electric are responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with new and existing lighting focused customers. You will:

  • Develop and execute sales growth plans for target customers, focusing on account conversions, in conjunction with sales management and the marketing department.
  • Grow sales and market share by providing unique, valuable commercial insights on the customer's business and market, helping them navigate alternatives and avoid potential risks, teaching them a better way to achieve their objectives, and leading them to Viking Electric's value propositions.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and vendors with full autonomy.
  • Support sales management with seamless hand-off of converted customers for sales assignment and post-sales support.
  • Create and execute an ongoing plan to increase value to Viking Electric and its customers in conjunction with actively participating in all job-related training opportunities, informational seminars, business meetings, etc.
What You Bring

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales required, preferably in the lighting and electrical industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Strong understanding of Electric products and Viking Electric services and solutions.
  • Good understanding of the market and competitors and basic financial skills.
  • Must have effective negotiating skills.
  • Strong selling, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
