Job Purpose

To take all inbound and outbound leads, qualify and validate contact data, and hand off only hot, sales-ready leads to the Closer (Inventory Consultant). The SDR is the bridge between marketing and closing, responsible for maintaining pipeline hygiene, ensuring responsiveness, and qualifying opportunities.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Receive all leads (inbound, outbound, referrals) and make first contact (email, call, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Verify and update contact and company information in the CRM.
  • Assess fit and interest using agreed qualification criteria.
  • Send initial intake/invoice details to the lead to confirm scope/needs and ensure the opportunity is truly qualified before handoff.
  • Nurture leads (short term) to readiness when needed.
  • Book a meeting or pass qualified leads to Closers (Inventory Consultants).
  • Ensure complete handoff: pass relevant information and context to the Closer (qualification notes, pain points, stakeholders, timing, pricing/invoice status, and required documents), so they have everything needed to close.
  • Proactively mine our company's book of business for additional qualified opportunities (re-engagement, cross-sell/up-sell) and create/route those leads.
  • Work with Marketing to provide feedback and insights (lead quality, messaging).
  • Report daily/weekly metrics (leads processed, conversion to SQL, speed-to-lead/response time, handoff quality).
Performance Metrics

To measure success in this role, team members will be evaluated on the following key performance indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of leads contacted/processed
  • Lead-to-qualified ratio
  • Speed of follow-up (first contact time)
  • Handoff quality (percentage of leads with complete, accurate data)
  • Meetings booked or demos scheduled

Pay Details
  • Non-Exempt / Hourly Role / Full Time (40 hrs/wk)
  • Base salary with bonus opportunity from Day 1, with total annual compensation potential of $42,000+ based on performance.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required, undergraduate degree preferred
