Tier 2 IT Support Technician Pegasus Technologies, LLC Chester County, PA | Full-Time | Hybrid Field & Remote Support Pegasus Technologies is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on delivering exceptional IT support, cybersecurity, and strategic technology solutions to small and mid-sized businesses throughout the region. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Tier 2 Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with clients, and continuing to grow their IT knowledge in a fast-paced MSP environment. Responsibilities
* Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, servers, networking, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments * Troubleshoot escalated service tickets and resolve issues efficiently * Support and maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 * Assist with onboarding/offboarding users and device deployments * Work with firewalls, switches, wireless networking, and VPN connectivity * Participate in project work including migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements * Document technical procedures, configurations, and resolutions * Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members * Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of the client experience
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably within an MSP environment * Strong knowledge of: * * Windows 10/11 * Windows Server * Microsoft 365 * Active Directory * Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
* Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools * Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively * Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto, Huntress, or similar MSP platforms * Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices * Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware * Microsoft or CompTIA certifications are a plus
