We’re searching for a friendly and motivated Maintenance Tech-3 to join our Building & Grounds team!
As a Maintenance Technician III/Lead Tech, you’ll tackle a wide variety of requests—everything from fixing a leaky faucet to troubleshooting systems or helping with special projects around the community. Most of your day will involve completing work tickets and responding to residents’ needs, so every shift brings something new.
On Call Schedule: Most shifts are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with some weekend shifts now and then. If you’re available on weekends, that’s a plus! There’s also a chance for full-time hours.
Pay Range: $33.00-$43.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Duties:
- Schedules work order requests adhering to priorities;
- Schedules and performs the maintenance of units and public spaces;
- Completes all unit repairs, completes move-in inspections, schedules unit refurbishing by outside vendors, including painting, re-carpeting, etc; supervises activities of outside contractors, ensuring quality of work performed and adherence to established project specifications;
- Performs the maintenance of grounds, building, parking lots, sprinkler systems, and fences and facilities;
- Performing heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and remodeling work.
- Ensuring that all unoccupied residential units are ready for new residents
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the facility
- Ensuring the maximum quality of life possible for all residents in alignment with the company’s mission, vision and core beliefs
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- 6+ years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience required
- 10+ years of previous experience in building maintenance preferred
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment preferred
- Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current & valid Drivers’ License and driving record free of major infractions
- Availability that includes evenings and some weekends
