We are currently seeking a CDL A Driver for a local position in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves picking up cardboard from various locations and transporting it to a papermill. The pay rate is $25.75 per hour with overtime available after 40 hours.

• Pay Rate: $25.75 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays mandatory
• Start Time: Approximately 3/4 AM
• Total Hours: 10-12 hours per day
• Employment Type: Short Term Flex

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Cardboard
• Equipment: Flatbed
• Handling: Strapping and unloading with moffett
• Load Details: Two loads per day, with the second load needing to reach its destination by 5 PM
• Service Area: Surrounding Virginia area and sometimes North Carolina

• Pick up cardboard behind retailers
• Load cardboard onto flatbeds and secure loads
• Transport loads to the papermill and unload
• Ensure timely delivery of loads

• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Valid CDL A
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Experience with flatbed operations and strapping
