A career as an Internal Business Development Manager - Mortgage Brokerage within the Mortgage Solutions team at National Bank means acting as a business development specialist. This role allows you to have a positive impact on the organization through your market strategy, coaching and influencing skills.

Your role

With partner mortgage brokers: 

  • Provide support by answering their questions by email and, when needed, supporting them through coaching
  • Develop and roll out coaching initiatives and process improvement
  • Maximize National Bank’s visibility, notably through our Facebook page
  • Influence the referral of mortgage files to National Bank
  • Share and standardize best practices across the network
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and share strategic information with stakeholders
  • Identify emerging business opportunities and recommend actions to take

You report directly to the Associate Vice-President, Mortgage Business Development. Our team stands out for its innovative spirit and its ability to influence the market. Requirements  

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience; OR a master’s degree and 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of mortgage credit and mortgage financing products
  • Proven experience in business development and influencing
  • Initiative and creativity
  • Available to travel within Québec, and potentially Ontario
