Conduct daily inspections of architectural facade and single-ply roofing installations on active project sites nationwide. Complete project-specific quality control (QC) checklists and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), documenting findings with detailed reports and photographs. Verify that all work meets approved submittals, project specifications, supplier installation guides, and internal quality standards. Inspect substrate, framing, panel materials, installation sequences, joint alignments, and specialty facade elements for compliance with project requirements. Assess single-ply roofing systems, including deck conditions, insulation, membrane installation, seam welding, edge conditions, and penetration flashings. Identify, document, and report non-conforming work or materials promptly, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating corrective actions. Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of all inspections, QC checklists, and ITPs throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate daily with field superintendents, foremen, project managers, and client representatives to support project quality objectives. Attend pre-installation and quality-focused project meetings as required. Travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight and extended out-of-town assignments, as needed by project demands. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on field experience in commercial building envelope construction, specifically with architectural facade systems and/or single-ply roofing. Experience executing QC checklists and ITPs on active construction projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, roofing details, and project specifications. Familiarity with single-ply membrane systems (TPO, EPDM, or PVC), including seaming, flashings, edge conditions, and penetration details. Familiarity with architectural metal panel or composite panel systems, including clips, fasteners, joints, sealant, and transitions. Proficiency with Procore or similar digital QC documentation platforms. Strong written communication skills for preparing clear and professional daily reports and NCRs. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays. Physical ability to access all areas of a project site, including rooftops, man lifts, and scaffolding.
