We are seeking an experienced QA Inspector to support a high-profile federal construction project in the Albany, NY area. This is a critical role on a M fire station build, requiring a professional who can operate effectively in both field and office environments. This position will serve as the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring quality standards are met while coordinating closely with project engineers and government stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Perform quality assurance inspections following a 3-phase inspection process Act as on-site QA representative (non-directive role to contractors) Identify, document, and escalate quality issues Collaborate with: Project Engineers, Government representatives Review and respond to: RFIs (Requests for Information), Submittals. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting Support both field operations and administrative/project documentation Required qualifications include: 10+ years of construction experience Minimum 5+ years handling RFIs and submittals Proven ability to work across field and office functions Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) Active CAT Card required (must have prior to start) Ability to pass (or prior completion of) a federal background check
