My client is a premium London catering business delivering high-end corporate and private events across the capital. They are now seeking an Event Sales Manager to join the commercial team and manage the full sales journey from enquiry through to confirmed event.
This is a commercially focused role combining sales, client advisory and account development. You will manage a broad range of event enquiries while building long-term client, venue and agency relationships and ensuring all events are commercially sound and operationally deliverable.
The role would suit a confident, relationship-led sales professional with a strong understanding of event operations and a passion for hospitality, food and client experience.
Key Responsibilities Manage event enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking Create tailored proposals, bespoke quotations and event pitches Build and develop strong client, venue and agency relationships Advise clients on menus, event structure and catering solutions Drive upselling opportunities while maintaining a strong client experience Ensure events are scoped accurately with consideration for logistics, staffing and delivery Provide detailed handovers to operations teams to ensure seamless execution Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and forecasting reports Attend tastings, venue visits, networking events and showcases Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional activity and social content Support business development activity and growth of venue partnerships
About You Previous experience within event sales, catering or hospitality Strong understanding of event operations and logistics Commercially aware with experience managing margins and revenue targets Excellent relationship-building and client management skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident presenter and communicator Experience using CRM systems such as Caterease advantageous Passionate about food, hospitality and high-quality event experiences
