 LOCATION: BUDD LAKE, NJ  SETTING: outpatient ortho
If certified in dry needling in NJ – client will buy needles
Bonus points for vestibular experience START DATE: July 13 start preferred – will allow for two weeks overlap with provider going on leave. Provider is due July 27 GUARANTEE: 37 hours   ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 14-15 weeks – depending on start date. Maternity leave is 3 months. REQUESTED EXPERIENCE: Prefer someone with recent outpatient experience. Experience with vestibular is a plus but not required. PT going on leave sees a good majority of the vestibular cases. STAFF: joining great team of PTs and PT aides. Very collaborative team. The entire floor is open and therapists/aides will assist if they have downtime and are always willing to help.
  EMR:  Raintree – new as of January. CASELOAD / PATIENT SCHEDULING: 3-8 evals per week.
Will see 2-3 patients per hour – depending on severity of cases, could be much less. Ex: fall risks or vestibular cases are typically scheduled 1:1. SCHEDULE: M W 7a-9p / F 7a-5p. – they are open for four hours on Saturday and take turns with coverage on Saturday. They are talking about adding another hour on Friday’s schedule so they can close the clinic on Sundays during the summer.   ADDITIONAL INFO: Manually based clinic – successful because they are very hands on. Client doesn’t dictate how therapists treat – just that they need to be hands on. “Not here to watch someone stretch, we are here to do it for them.” Minimum of 15 minutes hands on for easy cases (ex: ankles or elbows). Very different atmosphere from Drayer (some nearby).
Aides help through exercises while therapists are hands on with patients.
Client said - It’s not the how many, it’s the who. Focus on quality care.
Great technology they have available – ARP Wave for neurological stimulation.
