We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced software solutions in the material handling industry. This role requires technical leadership, deep expertise in Linux and C based software architecture as well as the ability tomentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions for automation and supply chain operations.We offer:Core Responsibilities:* Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications for material handling systems.* Architect scalable, high-performance software solutions that integrate with warehouse control systems (WCS), warehouse integration systems (WIS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and software roadmaps.* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.* Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high software quality standards.* Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance software applications for reliability, performance, and scalability.* Ensure robust software documentation, including architecture diagrams, user guides, and technical specifications.* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in automation and material handling software solutions.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.* 10+ years of professional software development experience.* Strong expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, JavaScript within Linux (RHEL) server environments.* Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.* Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies for software development.* Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.* Strong background in database design and management (Oracle, PostgreSQL)* Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience in industrial automation, supply chain, or material handling industries.* Hands-on experience with warehouse software (WMS, WIS, or WCS) and real-time system integration.* Experience with frontend development using frameworks like QT or Angular.* Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices in software development.* Proven ability to lead technical projects from conception to deployment.Desired Strengths:* Technical Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor engineering teams while maintaining hands-on development expertise.* Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and drive innovation.* Results-Driven: Capable of managing multiple high-impact projects and delivering results on time.* Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders.* Adaptability: Embraces new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software solutions.* Customer Focus: Understands how software solutions impact business operations and ensures alignment with end-user needs.Tasks and Qualifications:Additional Details:* This is a full-time position offering opportunities for leadership and career growth.* Some travel may be required depending on project needs.* Competitive salary and benefits package provided.* Pay Transparency* Global Opportunities* Learn More Here:
