Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Assist in the timely processing of all outbound material issues, incoming material receipts, and supply of necessary production parts to assigned areas of the plant. Essential Functions: Transport production parts to assigned line using tow motor/lift truck.
Operates reach or fork truck to pick supplies throughout the facility.
Loads semi-truck and trailer with inventory via PIT.
Operates auto wrapper to wrap pallets for transport.
Picks parts from bins to resupply assembly lines.
Writes information on tracking forms and inputs data in RF scanner.
Conduct all location transactions for parts delivered to warehouse and /or production lines.
Assist in resolving data accuracy problems associated with any warehouse transactions.
Assist in coordinating all quality discrepancies with purchasing and production scheduling personnel.
Break down cardboard at each department location and feed to bailer.
Performs 5S housekeeping duties around the work area. Education & Training: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
Must carry a current fork truck license. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read and write legibly.
Ability to function as an effective team member.
Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
