Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and remain as independent as possible under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility settings required. Candidates must have prior experience providing restorative and skilled PTA services in long-term care or rehabilitation units.
- Demonstrated competency with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and use of assistive devices and durable medical equipment in an SNF environment.
- Ability to document in electronic medical records systems. Experience with typical SNF documentation standards and therapy plans of care preferred.
