The QA/QC Coordinator is a vital part of our project delivery team, ensuring that all work performed meets contract requirements and high-quality standards. Reporting directly to the General Superintendent, this role is responsible for administering the quality control and assurance plan, coordinating rework of non-conforming work, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing QA/QC plans and procedures across all phases of the project, overseeing the submittal process and maintaining thorough inspection reports and supporting documentation, coordinating and collaborating with Superintendents on all project quality matters, verifying quality-related site activities conform to codes, standards, and customer specifications, ensuring timely and accurate compilation of quality control documentation for as-built records, reviewing contract specifications and schedule necessary inspections and testing, submitting and coordinating site QA/QC technical submittals for customer approval, and communicating quality-related updates and findings regularly to the Superintendent. Required qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of field experience in developing and enforcing quality control programs, strong knowledge of Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline, comprehensive understanding of building trades especially Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), a valid driver's license, exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. Preferred attributes include strong communication and problem-solving skills, a passion for quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and a team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
