As a Physical Therapist 1, you will complete thorough initial assessments, establish functional and measurable treatment goals, and deliver a full range of therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re‑education, balance and gait training, manual therapy, and patient and family education. You will monitor patients’ progress, adjust treatment plans based on clinical response, and document all care in the electronic medical record in accordance with professional, regulatory, and Methodist Health System standards. You will also coordinate discharge planning, including home exercise programs, durable medical equipment recommendations, and appropriate therapy referrals.

You will provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, therapy goals, self‑management strategies, and injury prevention. You will also assist with student or new‑hire orientation when appropriate and adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
