Sharing knowledge, developing yourself and achieving results as a team is part of our DNA.About the roleWe are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Goch, Germany.You will be part of a small and entrepreneurial setup. In Goch, you work closely with two office based colleagues and one Sales colleague who covers the entire German market by visiting customers. Together, you form a team of four.Germany is a key growth market for us. We have strong expansion plans and want to significantly grow the team in the coming years. This means you step in at the right moment. You help build the market and grow alongside the business.What you will doYou are responsible for the first phase of the sales process. Your activities include:Proactively reaching out to potential customers via outbound calls and digital channelsQualifying prospects and identifying commercial opportunitiesScheduling meetings and demos for the Sales teamBuilding relationships with decision makers and influencersManaging and following up leads in SalesforceCollaborating with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow upRepresenting ECI at relevant events or trade showsWho you areYou bring energy, resilience and a strong drive to achieve results. You enjoy starting new conversations, think commercially and take ownership of your work.You are comfortable working independently, while staying connected with your team.What we are looking forNative level German is requiredEnglish at a professional working level, able to communicate internallyA proactive and persuasive mindset with a high level of ownershipConfidence in outbound calling and booking meetings, experience is a plusAbility to work with targets and stay focused on resultsInterest in software, technology and business processesAffinity with manufacturing or construction is a plusAt ECI, you step into a commercial role with real impact and clear growth potential.You will be part of building our presence in Germany, with the ambition to grow the team significantly in the coming years. This gives you the opportunity to develop yourself and grow with the business.You will also be part of an international commercial team. In the Netherlands, around six Business Development Representatives are active, and there is a BDR colleague in the United Kingdom.Annual trip to the United States to visit our headquarters together with the sales organisationAnnual company events in the Netherlands with your BDR colleaguesBenefitsPermanent contract with a 6 month probation periodPosition for 36 to 40 hours per weekCompetitive base salary, paid in 12 monthly installmentsAttractive bonus structure with an on target earning of approximately 30 percent of your base salary or morePension scheme30 vacation days per yearReimbursement of business travel and expense costsStandard 40 hour workweek based in GochOpportunity for mobile working based on agreementIdeally, you live within 50 kilometers of the office. As you will work quite independently, living within 100 kilometers is also acceptable. At this stage, working from the office is not required on a daily basis. In the future, this will likely be one to two days per week.
