This is a senior-level, hands-on role at the intersection of data engineering, product analytics, and business intelligence. You will own the reporting suite — defining what gets measured, how it gets displayed, and ensuring the data behind it is accurate and meaningful. You will also play a key role in evaluating and integrating AI tools into our analytics workflows.
In this role, you will build advanced analytical reporting and insights for high-volume e-commerce brands to transform complex data into actionable insights. Your expertise will empower our clients to optimize operations, improve performance, and support strategic initiatives through comprehensive reporting and innovative data solutions. *Responsibilities*
* Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical specifications. * Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing tools like Talend, Python, Bash scripts, and SQL to ensure accurate data integration from multiple sources including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linked Data repositories. * Conduct comprehensive data analysis using R, SQL, and analysis skills to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements. * Support Agile project management practices by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative development cycles to deliver timely analytics solutions. * Apply knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles to manage the development lifecycle of analytics projects from conception through deployment. * Design scalable database schemas and optimize database performance through effective database design techniques. * Utilize VBA and Visio for automating routine reporting tasks and documenting system workflows. * Collaborate on integrating Linked Data sources to enhance data richness and enable advanced analytics capabilities.
*Requirements*
* 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related role — with meaningful e-commerce exposure. * Proven experience building or overhauling a reporting suite from the ground up or significantly improving one. * Expert-level SQL; Python a strong plus. * Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or custom-built dashboards. * Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Base44, Cursor, etc.) as a force multiplier in analytics work. * Experience working within Agile environments with project management skills that promote collaboration and iterative delivery. * Strong opinions about what good data looks like and the communication skills to advocate for it. * E-commerce platform familiarity (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar) is a major plus.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
