Requires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines Works with close supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products. Build and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance. Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Required Qualifications
Required education and experience:
Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree Discipline/Major:
Quality or related degree preferred Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Technical expertise. Ability to identify and seek needed information. Research skills. Problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. May need to stand for long periods of time. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. May be requested to work a different shift. Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required. This position is Safety-Sensitive.
