The Inventory Controller/Sales Support member is responsible for managing inventory logistics, supporting sales operations, and ensuring timely delivery of surgical instrument trays, implants, and medical equipment within their assigned territory. This position requires establishing and maintaining strong relationships with sales teams, healthcare facilities, and area point persons through consistent communication and coordination. You will serve as a key liaison for inventory needs, planning efficient routes, and overseeing warehouse operations to support the sales of Arthrex products. Pre-existing knowledge of orthopedic inventory management and logistics is preferred, but not required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding inventory management and support objectives for the territory. Represent "Arthrex Arizona," an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by collaborating with sales representatives, surgeons, and healthcare professionals. Enhance operational efficiency by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing logistics strategies, including route planning and inventory replenishment. Communicate with sales teams, area point persons, and healthcare facilities regarding a variety of topics, including inventory updates, product availability, and logistical coordination. Implement new inventory management plans and effective strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed operational objectives. Navigate inventory needs by accurately preparing, issuing, and kitting production materials based on requests from sales teams, while performing physical inventories and cycle counts as required. Address any logistical or inventory-related problems that arise, ensuring seamless support for sales activities. Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting noncompliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and company policies and procedures. Receive coaching, training, or mentoring from managers; transfer knowledge to peers as needed. Maintain training in inventory management skills, product features/benefits, warehouse operations, and other critical business applications. Participate in and attend team meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Requirements Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Minimum of 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics; orthopedic or medical device experience preferred Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market Knowledge of basic warehouse logistical operations, including inventory tracking and replenishment Prior experience in delivery or transportation roles is a plus Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: MS Office and Excel Ability to create effective logistics and route plans Strong communication skills Strong sense of urgency Ability to work well under pressure Self-assurance and competitive drive Abide by all Compliance and Code of Conduct policies Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Current driver's license Access to your own transportation Proficiency with inventory management software
