TWIG Power is a start up company focused on the North American solution for light electric vehicle powertrain. Our technology aligns with state of the art automotive and uses a platform to enable right sized products of high value. Applications include motorcycles, e-bikes, lawnmowers, energy storage and back up power, and other customer driven solutions. Our lead product is a high power EV powertrain for an electric racing dirt bike. Based on TWIG (the whole is greater) philosophy, products are designed in-house or jointly with customers to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts. With in-house and close partner manufacturing, key elements of supply chain and design for manufacturing are integral to our success.

*Position: Embedded Software Engineer*
As an embedded software engineer, you will develop, validate, and maintain software solutions for for battery and electrification products. This includes battery management, motor control, system control, networking, diagnostics, bootloader, and tools associated with modern ECU development. Coding methods include a mix of C and model based code generation. Application development includes use of multi-core processors that use latest functional safety technology and advanced automotive networking such as CAN-FD.
-Embedded C programming
-Model based code generation such as Simulink or ASCET
-DAQ and Calibration enablement with CANape or INCA
-Eclipse IDE
-NXP S32K Microcontrollers
-CAN bus
-SPI and I2C
-Functional safety
-Electronics testing
-Software Validation
-Motor control
-Battery management
-BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
-Minimum of 5 years automotive industry experience at Tier 1 or OEM
-Electric powertrain or battery management experience a preferred
-Proven ability to design and validate automotive production code

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
