We are seeking a skilled and friendly Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our dentist in delivering excellent care to young patients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Help ease patient anxiety and create a positive experience for children
• Provide chairside support and ensure efficient workflow
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Follow all infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification (as required by Illinois regulations)
• Previous experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with children and families
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Knowledge of dental software is a plus
