Location: UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center - Longmont, CO Department: Float Pool Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $33.61 - $52.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Office Float Pool, supporting clinics across the Longmont, CO micro-region. This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of primary care settings, providing high-quality patient care while collaborating with diverse care teams. The RN will float between multiple clinics in the Longmont area, ensuring seamless patient experiences and consistent clinical excellence. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, triage, and clinical procedures, within scope of practice
- Support providers during patient visits and assist with care coordination and follow-up
- Float between clinics in the Longmont micro-region, including Berthoud Primary Care, Longmont Family Medicine, Longmont Internal Medicine, Longmont Pediatrics, Ken Pratt Primary Care, Firestone Family Medicine, Firestone Pediatrics, and Erie Primary Care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with care teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered care across all locations
- Adapt quickly to different clinic workflows and patient populations while maintaining a high standard of care
- Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Minimum Experience: 6 months of nursing experience.
