We are seeking a Design Drafter to join our team!
This position assists engineers in various tasks related to design, development and manufacturing. They will work closely with engineers providing support by applying practical skills, problem solving skills and knowledge through various stages of a project, from initial design to final implementation. The hours for this position are
Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
Essential duties and responsibilities
include the following; other duties may be assigned: Work alongside engineers, other team members and suppliers assisting them with technical information and guidance. Create CAD models and detailed drawings for new and existing product Design parts from prototypes or sketches Update existing CAD models and drawings Create and maintain documentation Create bill of materials Obtain technical information for projects Order processing Other duties as needed Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in technical field or working towards an associate degree or equivalent experience 3D solid modeling experience. Preferably SolidWorks CAD experience. Preferably Auto Cad Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Excel, Word, OneNote etc. Be able to read and understand prints Problem solving skills Team player Self-motivated and goal oriented Need to be able to multitask Strong communication skills Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to twist repetitively, reach with hands and arms; bend, stoop, kneel crouch, talk and hear, stand for long periods of time; walk and climb up stairs/steps. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklift traffic, hot sand, loud noise, chemicals, high temperatures, hot surfaces, molten metal, sharp objects or edges, grinding with wheels and carbides, silica dust and water.

Language Skills

Mathematical skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply basic geometry and trigonometry concepts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; manufacturing software and word processing software.
