Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Birmingham team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our customers, coordinating orders, and ensuring an exceptional client experience from quote to delivery. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with inquiries related to product selection, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotes; track and manage job quote statuses.
  • Utilize company systems and manufacturer tools for equipment selection and pricing.
  • Enter and expedite job control sheets and factory competitive quotation memos.
  • Facilitate factory orders and coordinate directly with manufacturers as needed.
  • Purchase products from vendors as required to fulfill customer needs.
  • Collaborate with office administration to publish and distribute customer quotes.
  • Attend training sessions at manufacturer facilities and within the company's sales territory to enhance product knowledge.
  • Support sales goals by helping management meet manufacturer quotas and assist in product promotions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous inside sales, customer service, or related experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn technical product details and quoting systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn internal systems
