Center Associate

The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

Responsibilities
  • Expert Consultation: Delivers outstanding customer service by advising customers on the full range of center solutions. Acts as a consultant, not a clerk, to help customers navigate their most important tasks with confidence.
  • Active Communication: Continuously practices active listening and clear communication with customers, team members, and leadership to ensure accuracy and center harmony.
  • Solution Discovery: Consults with customers to identify their specific needs and recommends the most beneficial solutions to satisfy those requirements and provide the best outcome.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactively learns all product and service offerings, alternative workflows, and industry trends to remain a subject matter expert.
  • Technical Mastery: Operates all center equipment, software, and devices with precision and is willing to share that knowledge to help train and support the team.
  • Center Standards: Maintains a "Showroom Ready" environmentkeeping the center clean, organized, and safe for both customers and staff.
  • Operational Flexibility: Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the center.
  • Professional Certification: Willingness to obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission to expand the center's service capabilities (as required by store needs).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Outstanding phone skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds
