We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bell Avenue Nursing in Elk City, Oklahoma. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with company policy.
- Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observe and report on residents' conditions, and document observations as required.
- Promote a safe and clean environment.
- Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of department, resident, employee information, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Enrolled or graduation from an accredited Certified nursing aide school and a current, valid license or registration (CNA) in the state where employed are required.
- Current certification to practice as a certified nurse aide.
- Current CPR certification desired.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, nursing/Resident progress notes.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department heads, customers (Residents, family members, physicians, etc.) and the public.
- Computer skills required.
- Minimum Qualifications: Freedom from illegal use of drugs. Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
- Anyone found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting is ineligible for employment in the position.
- Salary: $15 - $17 HOURLY
