LifeBridge Health is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and contribute to high-quality, compassionate care for patients across our regional healthcare system in Maryland. As a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will work under the supervision of physicians to provide comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform detailed histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and assist in procedures within your scope of practice. The role includes prescribing medications as authorized, monitoring patient progress, providing patient and family education, and coordinating care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure safe and effective care transitions. You will document all encounters and care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across LifeBridge Health’s hospitals, specialty centers, and community practices, reflecting our culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary rounds, and care conferences, and may provide clinical guidance to students or other learners as appropriate. You will be expected to stay current with advances in clinical practice, participate in continuing medical education, and maintain all required licensure and certifications. This opportunity offers room for career growth and professional development, allowing you to deepen your clinical expertise, expand into specialty areas as appropriate, and contribute to initiatives that improve health outcomes and promote well-being in the diverse communities LifeBridge Health serves. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
