- The key function of this role is to ensure the regulatory compliance, building, and coordination of routes with flight planning and air traffic providers and coordinating weather services for the flight planning system and use by various operational teams.
- This role is also responsible for the oversight of the Operations Specialist teams and their new roles of managing the flight planning database and navigation system updates.

- Lead a team responsible for the delivery of frontline IOC training, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational realities.
- Ensure all training programs meet regulatory, safety, and operational compliance standards.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and stakeholders to assess training needs and ensure strategies are practical and executable across workgroups and operational environments.
- Partner with product, technology, business, and finance teams to ensure readiness for technology rollouts that are aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Establish and evaluate metrics that measure the impact, effectiveness, and efficiency of all training programs, ensuring effective resource utilization and speed of delivery and work to continually improve
- Develop and facilitate role-specific training for IOC operational positions, aligned with the demands of 24/7 operations and high-impact decision-making.
- Deliver training and learning in line with the most recent philosophies for adult learning and using modern tools to maximize effectiveness.
- Deliver training within budget and on schedule, leveraging technology capabilities and emphasizing quality, impact, and speed to market.
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management, organizational leadership, instructional design, learning and development, or equivalent training/experience
- 2+ years designing, developing and delivering training
- Experience leading and developing team members
- Extensive experience managing and implementing large, complex projects
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Knowledge of modern learning methods and technologies, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Led proven successful training programs that improved employee performance and had a positive impact on the business’s overall performance and effectiveness

- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel both internal and external (including the FAA, TSA and AMC)
- Strong communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to apply diverse learning methodologies to support scalable, engaging, and outcome-focused training solutions.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to shape and lead training strategy that drives performance, compliance, and customer experience across complex operational environments.

- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to align training strategy with business goals.
- Comfortable using data and analytics to measure training impact and inform continuous improvement.
- Thorough familiarity with all aspects of AA operations, policies, and procedures
