Join Our Team as a Skilled CNC Operator!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? At Waukesha Bearings , part of Dover Precision Components , we are looking for a passionate Skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. You’ll be working in a state-of-the-art Computer Aided Manufacturing facility, utilizing advanced CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations. Your expertise will help us create customized designs from a variety of materials, including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Skilled CNC Operator, you will:

  • Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements and specifications.
  • Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
  • Interpret work instructions and select the appropriate tooling for operations.
  • Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials.
  • Edit or write complete programs as needed.
  • Understand the capabilities of tooling and machinery intuitively.
  • Perform quality inspections and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
  • Visually inspect final components and prepare them for shipment.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments for quality verification.
  • Ensure proper identification of components post-assembly.
What We Offer

  • Annual Salaries:
    • £44,919.62 for a weekly rotating shift pattern (early and backshifts).
    • £52,452.37 for night shift work.
  • Permanent Employment Contracts with a 37-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
  • Inclusive shift premiums, productivity bonuses, and employer pension contributions up to 13%.
  • Life insurance and 25 days of holiday.
  • Attractive overtime rates.
