As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources for children, tailored to their age and stage of development.
• Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
• Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Support the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
• Build strong professional relationships and report any concerns in line with company policy.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
• Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and company policies.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification: Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS: Desirable

The nursery operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday , and you will be required to work shifts within these hours, totaling 40 hours per week .

We are dedicated to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts, and this position will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our Safeguarding Duty.
