Physician Assistant

Sterling Medical is currently looking for the following Physician Assistants To work on-site at William Beaumont Army Medical Center At Ft. Bliss, TX in El Paso, TX

·         Physician Assistants

o   Must be Certified by the National Commission on Certified Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).

o   Must have at least (1) year experience within the last (2) years working as a full-time PA in Primary Care.

o   Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree.

o   Graduate form an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or previously recognized accrediting body.

o   Residency or fellowship training of 12 months or more in a medical specialty program acceptable to the DHA, NPI is required.

Duties shall consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure Service Members (SMs) are medically cleared for Mobilization/Demobilization (MOB /DEMOB. This is a very dynamic section requiring excellent time management, critical thinking, flexibility, communication, and teamwork.

•  Shall see an average of 4 to 6 patients per hour, (SRP) / 2 to 3 patients per hour and/or the patient per hour average of the other collective CPs in the Section, unless affected by circumstances beyond their control, which shall be reported to the Section OIC or designee.

• Provide medical examination, care, and treatment to service members. Review medical histories and progress of service members. Examine service members, make diagnosis of disease, disaster, or injury, and treat service member or prescribe a course of treatment.

  These Physician Assistant positions will be located at the Soldier Readiness Processing Center.

•   Must have a current BLS Provider certification.
