Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds? At Prima Montessori & Day Nursery , we’re looking for a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team! Located on Capstone Road in Gillingham, our nursery is rated “Good” by Ofsted and embraces a Montessori-inspired approach to childcare, harmonizing with the Early Years Foundation Stage national curriculum.

Our nursery features:

• Eight spacious rooms, including a newly refurbished baby room
• Two separate gardens for under-twos and over-twos
• Ample onsite parking for families

We create calm, purposeful environments where children can explore freely and develop their independence, curiosity, and love of learning.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, providing high-quality care and education in a safe environment
• Observe, assess, and plan stimulating early years activities tailored to each child's learning and development
• Engage as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification - essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English - essential
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS - desirable

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm . Please note that this is a year-round role, as our nursery operates throughout the year.
