As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences of our children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
- Supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Helping staff maintain high-quality learning journals via EyLog.
- Leading by example with fairness and consistency.
- Strengthening the key person approach and identifying staff training needs.
- Keeping accurate records using EyMan and other systems.
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors.
- Complying with EYFS statutory requirements.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
- Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years – Essential.
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position – Desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable.
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English – Essential.
