CNC Operator

As a Skilled CNC Operator , you will work in a cutting-edge Computer Aided Manufacturing facility, utilizing advanced CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations. Your expertise will help us create customized designs from a variety of materials, including steel grades, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.

In this exciting position, you will:

• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements and specifications.
• Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
• Interpret work instructions and select the appropriate tooling for operations.
• Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials.
• Understand and edit CNC programs as needed.
• Perform quality inspections and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
• Visually inspect final components and prepare them for shipment.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments for dimensional verification.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Experience in CNC machining and programming.
• A strong understanding of machining processes and tooling capabilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a 37-hour work week , Monday to Friday, with permanent employment contracts. You can choose between:

• £44,919.62 for a rotating shift pattern (early and backshifts).
• £52,452.37 for night shift work.
