A well-established and expanding law firm in Tampa is looking to add an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation to its growing legal team. This position is well-suited for a highly organized professional who is comfortable handling complexmatters and excels in a fast-moving, client-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage personal injury and medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
  • Obtain, review, and organize medical records, bills, and related documentation
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and expert witnesses
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, case summaries, and binders
  • Track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure timely filings
  • Support depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures
  • Experience managing medical records and working with experts
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Ability to handle multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment
