Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial activity and maintain organized, up-to-date records in accounting systems.
- Support monthly closings by reconciling bank accounts, preparing journal entries, and updating the general ledger.
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting, including cost-saving analysis and revenue tracking.
- Handle tax-related duties, such as processing payments and compiling necessary returns in compliance with current laws.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and prepare reports for audits, consultants, and management.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally with over 5 years in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-and comfort working with internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting tools), along with Outlook and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to improving systems and procedures.
