Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 1-5 years ofexperience to join our growing team in Temecula. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on their accounting foundation while gaining hands-on experience across general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures
- Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-5 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
