Overview
An established organization is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support core financial operations during a critical period. This role will focus on general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, and financial analysis within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and able to step in quickly to support ongoing accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support general ledger integrity through preparation and review of journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
- Perform account reconciliations and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Analyze account fluctuations and variances, providing insight into trends and drivers
- Review cash activity and support balance sheet accuracy through reconciliation processes
- Prepare documentation and schedules to support audit requests and internal reviews
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes where needed
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger exposure
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with account reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
- Ability to operate independently and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with manufacturing or product-based environments is a plus
- Exposure to integrated ERP platforms (including cloud-based systems) is a plus
- Immediate start with high visibility
